In 11 days I will on my way to beautiful Puerto Rico for my 1 year wedding anniversary with my boo! In preparation, I have been trying to decide on my manicure for my trip. Here are some that I found on Pinterest that I adore. Now I just have to choose one!

Manicure Monday {Zig Zags}

Hey Everybody,

I'm back with another Manicure Monday post! I know it's been a while, but I'm trying to get back into the swing of things. For this manicure my daughter used two different greens and some zig zag nail tattoos. Quick and easy, but still fun. Take a look!

The dark green is Exotic Green by Sinful Colors and the green under the tattoos is Tudor City Teal by NYC Colors. What colors are you wearing for Manicure Monday?

MANICure Monday {Fuchsia Tips}

This weekend was Mommy/Daughter time and we ended up at the nail salon.  I kept with simple with some fuchsia tips (the color is Essie Super Bossa Nova) and a hand painted design on the ring finger.

This was a quick one this week. I had so much to do this weekend that I ended up doing my at 11 PM last night. I chose one of my favorite go to colors: Essie's Power Clutch, Spoiled by Wet N Wild in Let's Get Sushi, and Nailtini from my Ipsy box in Millionaire. This is what I came up with. Hope you like!

MANICure Mondays!

Happy Monday!!!!!

This is my first MANICure Monday link up with the Uber Fab Mimi over at Lipgloss and Binky and LA Lynn at LA Lynn's Shoppe. 

My manicure for the week was a quick one! I am in love with Nail Wraps! You can have a cute manicure in a matter of minutes! For this one, I used Kiss Nail Wraps.

They don't have many styles, but the one that I tried I really love. They were really easy to apply, and they seem really sturdy. My only gripe is they don't have too many sizes for us ladies with big fingers But me being the MacGyver that I am, I made them work!

Hey Everybody!

I know, I know... I went MIA for a little bit (again). I promise I am going to get this thing under control. Even with the best intentions, life has a way of getting in the way. If you follow me on Instagram, then you would know that I had a birthday recently, my daughter went to prom, I got a puppy, my youngest had lots of basketball tournament, and a host of other things have been going on. I will post a few of the pics below. I thank all of you for your continued support and I will try not to stay away so long. I'm going home to NYC for a few days. I will definitely be posting pics. Nail Polish Love!

Hey Everybody!
Just a quick post on some pretty cool polishes me and my daughter picked up this weekend. I don't know if I've posted about how many bottles of polish we own, but I will. It's ridiculous! I thought it was somewhere around 60 bottles,but looking at the racks that I ordered from here, which hold 90 bottles each and we have 2, it's closer to 100+ bottles.  Ti (pronounced Tee) changes her polish at least 5 times a week and she creates some of the cutest designs. Here's the polish we picked up on Sunday!

Because all of my Christmas shopping was done, on Christmas eve, my daughter and I decided to go do some thrifting. Here are a few of the pieces I found. There was more, but I had to leave it behind. I plan on doing some major makeovers! Stay tuned.....

The picture below brought back so many memories. My grandmother use to have a sewing machine like these. She would make EVERYTHING on it! Clothes, curtains (for home and the church), slip covers, etc. You name it, she made it. Seeing these in the thrift store just made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I try not  to show emotion that often, but seeing these made your girl turn into a punk for 3.5 milliseconds. LOL!

The meaning behind my blogger name "Polish Me Glam" is, I'm a tom girl. I love sweats and wife beaters and sneakers but underneath it all, I'm secretly a girly girl. I love to get all "Polished and Glam". I love mani's and pedi's. I love make up and shopping. So that's where the name came from.
